Android 11 Now Available on LEX L11

Motorola Solutions have announced that the LEX L11 Software Release 3.0 (R40.30.14) is now available for EMEA customers. This software update provides an Android 11 Operating System upgrade with an improved user interface, additional features and security enhancements.

Android 11 OS upgrade includes:

● Improved User Interface
○ Enables faster access to covert mode feature
○ Bubbles can be started from notifications for better user experience
○ Four new wallpapers

● Support For “Dark Mode”
○ Easier on the eyes in low light & saves battery

● Security Enhancements
○ Android advanced permissions management system
○ SCUDO hardened allocator to detect and mitigate memory safety violations
