The ICOM IP110H is a compact radio/handset that works on your Wi-Fi network. The ICOM IP110H can be used as part of a wider WLAN radio system, allowing you to use your local LAN to implement a communication system that is scalable even in the largest buildings. Unlike traditional PMR radios, the IP110H does not require a license or license application as it uses existing WiFi instead of radio frequencies. So, once the system is set up, anyone can use the handset right away.

IP WLAN Radio System Introduction

Introduction to IP WLAN Wireless System Using the IP1000C system controller and a range of wireless access points (including the Icom AP-95M), you can create a system with a range of access points to cover an area. The IP100FS scheduling software allows you to track each IP110H radio from a central location, showing you each IP110H and its closest LAN access point. It is also possible to communicate with distributed sites via Internet VPN and connect to legacy radios and IP phones via the optional VE-PG4 RoIP gateway.

Scalable System Using Wireless LAN Network

Deploying wireless access points on IP networks extends the communication range of WLAN radio systems.

Simultaneous TalkListen function

Provides full duplex communication like a telephone conversation and one-to-many communication. TalkListen works with or without external headset.

Licence Free Communication

The IP110H WLAN radio uses common wireless LAN network frequencies, which does not require a licence or any communication fees to use.

Dispersed Sites Communication

When connected over the Internet VPN, communication between dispersed sites is possible
