UKCA Update

As a result of the UK leaving the EU, a new product mark has been established for the Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) market which will replace the EU requirements for CE Marking.

The UK government published an update on August 24, 2021 to its UKCA guideline and extended acceptance of CE marking and EU Declaration of Conformity until December 31, 2022. This means that from 1 January 2023, products placed on the market in Great Britain must comply with the UK conformity assessment requirements. Northern Ireland still requires conformity to European Union Law, including CE marking.

We are actively working to complete compliance by the end of this year for non-ATEX products and by mid 2022 for ATEX products, and are on track to comply with the requirements ahead of the published deadline.
